Weird

Apparently members of my high school class are in the running to be featured in the 6th season of High School Reunion. If I send in an application, I could go for a paid two-week vacation with friends from back in the day.

If you had that opportunity, what would you do?

A two week paid vacation does sound heavenly. And if you actually enjoyed high school and had some good friendships, I'd be really tempted to go for it. As for me, there is nothing more wonderful than being 2,500 miles from my former high school and the craziness that those years bring up. But then again....if they paid me....I just might.

Not for me. :)

I'd totally do it. While I did not love high school and maintained basically no friendships from back in the day, I think nearly 20 years out, it would be fun to see what people are like as grown-ups. Plus: two-week vacation!

Wow, I was just about to write exactly what Snickollet wrote (well, at least the part about not loving high school and not having maintained any relationships from then). My 20th high school reunion is coming up next year, but I'm not going. I think the fact that I have only one Facebook friend from high school (and she is actually the coordinator of the reunion, not a friend) says a lot. We did all catch up online with a reunion profile page though which was fun.
That being said, I think a two-week vacation sounds glorious especially if I'm not paying for it. You should do it!

Um, no. I'm not sure if we ever have a reunion I would go. We were supposed to have our 10 year about 2 years ago... so, seeing that the plans fell through, I can't imagine anyone in my class actually putting forth the effort to get together at any point.

We weren't a close class and I've found recently that some people remain immature, even at 30 years old. Yes, there are a few people I'd like to see or talk with, but I have or am trying to connect with them on my own.

Man, that sounds awfully... Eeyore, doesn't it?
