Nicknaming

I've noticed men tend to use clever nicknames on their blogs more than do women. Why is that? Not-for-Profit-Dad calls his wife MOWA (Minister of Wifely Affairs), MetroDad calls his wife BossLady and his baby is Peanut. Dog nicknames are easy: Muttola, Kid, and La Spaza. Any suggestions for what to call the hubby?

    For husbands in general (no slight intended to yours!), perhaps "Hub of the Universe" would do. Or maybe the "The Duke of Hub-inocity" or "The Hubinator"... Well- you asked.

    Yeah, his suggestions were remarkably similar! I seem to have erased them from my mind but I think it had something to do with 'total dominator'. TD? Everyone can assume it stands for a stuffed bear.

    I asked The Duke last night what he suggested: "Dictator Supreme" or "J-Rex". I think I like 'J-Rex'...

    I should add that we both thought of it in the Latin sense (King), not in the T-rex version. J-King. Jrex.
